Curator: Li Ningchun

 

Graduated from University Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne with a Masters in Curatorial Studies in 2007, Chief-Curator of N-Minutes video art festival since 2011.

 

As a curator, Ningchun is interested in video art as well as public art. Her work involves curating and research into contemporary public art. In 2011, Ningchun launched a series of art activities entitled “Wall Breaking”, in which she transformed Shanghai, one of China’s 1st-tier cities, as an open experimental space. Using public spaces — shopping malls and advertising screens — as her exhibition venues, she used the interactive nature of public art to extend the territory of art and to create a dialogue between society, space and commerce.

 

Li Ningchun is the founder and Chief-curator of the N-Minutes Video Art Festival, which was the 1st international festival of this kind organized in China. This project involved video, new media and performance art. It is celebrating its 5th edition in 2015.

 

Her recent projects includes: N-Minutes video art festival 2011-2014, International festival of contemporary audio-visual & new media art (MADATAC)2014, “Wall Breaking”series by March Art 2011-2014, Video Guerrilha Festival 2013, N-Box video art for Times Museum in Guangdong 2013; Chinese video art program in Europe Media Art Festival (EMAF) 2012.

 

策展人：黎宁春

 

2007年毕业于法国巴黎一大索邦大学艺术策展硕士研究生，自2011年起担任N分钟影像艺术节总策展人。

 

黎宁春的策展方向以影像艺术和公共艺术为主，并从事当代语境中公共艺术的研究与实践。她在2011年发起“艺术破墙”系列活动，将中国一线城市上海作为一个开放的实验空间，以公共空间、商业广场、广告屏幕为展览环境，将公共艺术的互动概念延伸至艺术与环境、社会、空间、商业之间的介入与对话。

 

黎宁春是N分钟影像艺术节的创始人和总策展人，作为中国第一个年度的国际影像艺术节，其项目涉及录像，新媒体和表演艺术，2014年是第四届。

 

黎宁春近年的策划影像项目包括：N分钟影像艺术节2011-2014、西班牙新媒体艺术节特约策展2014、三月空间艺术破墙系列2011－2014、 广东时代美术馆N-Box影像策展2013、巴西影像艺术节中国录像单元策展2013、欧洲媒体艺术节EMAF中国影像特邀策展2012。

Née à Ningxia en Chine, vit et travaille entre Genève et Shanghai.

Master 2 professionnel des Sciences et Techniques de l'exposition à l'Université Paris I, la Panthéon-Sorbonne.



Ayant vécu 5 ans en France, elle a travallé comme coopératrice du projet entre la France et la Chine pour la Fondation Maeght et la galerie Maeght; elle a ensuite ouvet une galerie March Art en 2008 à Pékin, afin d'accueillir de jeunes talents de l'art contemporain.



S'intéressqnt à introduire l'art dans l'espace public, promouvoir des nouvelles idées dans un environnement urbain, Ningchun bâtit sa carrière à travers des projets de qualité, notamment le Festival N-Minutes, un événement annuel dans de nombreux espaces à Shanghai.
